2 Gym Usage Terms and Conditions Policy

Welcome to Company X Health & Wellness Fitness Studio. By using our gym facilities, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and staff.
1. Membership Eligibility and Fees
- Eligibility: Membership is available to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
- Fees: Membership fees are payable monthly in advance or in full upfront for annual memberships. Class credits included within memberships are valid for 1 month and cannot be carried over to the following month. Late payments may result in access restrictions until dues are settled.
- Membership is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of registration and will automatically renew unless cancelled. We require 1 month’s notice after an initial period of 3 months.
2. Facility Use
- Hours of Operation: Studio opening hours are displayed on the door and within the booking app,These hours may be subject to change with prior notice. Access is strictly limited to members only.
- Proper Usage: Equipment and facilities must be used for their intended purpose only. Misuse may result in injury and/or membership termination. Any damage caused by negligence will be the responsibility of the member.
3. Personal Conduct
- Respect: Respect towards staff and fellow members is mandatory. Harassment, intimidation, or any form of discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Attire: Appropriate fitness attire is required. This includes gym shoes, shirts, and pants/shorts. Inappropriate clothing may be grounds for denial of entry.
4. Health and Safety
- General Health: Members must be in good health to use facilities. Members with contagious conditions are asked to refrain from gym use until medically cleared. Members must disclose any medical conditions or injuries to the studio prior to participating in training sessions; failure to do so could result in the studio refusing participation if it is deemed unsafe for the member.
- Injury: Any accidents or injuries must be reported to staff immediately.
- Hygiene: Members are required to use hygiene and sanitation measures, including wiping down equipment after use and utilising hand sanitizer.
- Safety: It is important that all safety guidelines and regulations are followed while using the facilities and participating in classes or programmes.
5. Equipment and Facilities
- Care and Reporting: Care for equipment and facilities. Report any malfunctioning or broken equipment to staff. Do not attempt to repair or adjust any equipment yourself.
- Personal Belongings: Company X is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Secure all personal belongings in designated areas.
6. Fitness Classes
- Pre-registration: Members must pre-register for fitness classes. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Cancellation: If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, please cancel your booking as early as possible to allow access for other members.
7. Group Training Sessions
- Small Group Membership: Members with Small Group Membership are entitled to attend both large and small group training sessions according to the schedule provided by the studio. Small group sessions will be limited by the membership level purchased. If a member wishes to attend additional small group sessions, they must upgrade their membership to a higher tier.
- Large Group Membership: Members with a Large Group Membership are only entitled to attend large group training sessions according to the schedule by the studio. If a member wishes to attend small group sessions they must upgrade their membership to include small group sessions.
- PAYG: Pay as you go membership is available, classes are limited to large group classes only.
8. Suspension and Termination
- Breach of Terms: Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in the suspension or termination of membership.
- Voluntary Termination: Members may terminate their membership as per the terms outlined in the Membership Agreement.
9. Amendments
- Policy Changes: Company X reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time. All amendments will be effective immediately upon posting in the facility and, if applicable, on the website.
